Introduction

Rohmantec ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Block Redirect mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.

Use of AccessibilityService API

Block Redirect requires the use of the Android AccessibilityService API to provide its core functionality. Because this API has access to sensitive screen content, we want to be completely transparent about how it is used:

  • Why we use it: We use the API solely to detect which application is currently in the foreground and to read the URLs of websites you visit in your browser.
  • How we use it: The service compares the foreground app or website URL against the block rules and schedules you have configured. If a match is found, the service triggers the block screen or redirects you.
  • Data Privacy: We do not collect, store, or share any data obtained through this API. All processing happens in real-time, locally on your device. We do not track your browsing history or monitor your keystrokes.

Information We Collect & How It's Used

Block Redirect does not collect any personally identifiable information from you. All data required for the app's functionality (such as the list of apps you choose to block, your schedules, and your daily screen time limits) is stored locally and exclusively on your own device.

This local information is used solely to:

  • Enforce the blocking rules you have configured.
  • Track app usage time against the daily limits you set.
  • Run Pomodoro timers and scheduled blocking sessions.

Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you to provide core features like payments and advertising. Please review their privacy policies:
